Biodiesel is becoming increasingly available at retail locations around the country. In fact, biodiesel has become America’s fastest growing alternative fuel according to the U.S. Department of Energy. Production tripled in 2005 to 75 million gallons, up from 25 million gallons in 2004. And according to the National Biodiesel Board (NBB), the industry produced over 250 million gallons in 2006. By increasing biodiesel availability, we can help to rapidly increase biodiesel consumption – which is good for the economy and the environment.
